DIN-CHIAOFOOD BIOTECH CO., LTD.

PRODUCT CATEGORY EXPLAINED

Binding Agent is an alternative—not a traditional clouding agent.

Din-Chiao 1XA and 5XA are gum-arabic-free Binding Agent concentrates for formulation teams seeking visual cloud, opacity and perceived body in selected beverage and syrup systems.

The official product name

Binding Agent is Din-Chiao’s official English product name. It is not a traditional clouding agent, cloudifier, cloud emulsion or beverage opacifier, even though buyers searching those categories may evaluate it as a functional alternative.

Traditional clouding agents are commonly associated with gum-arabic emulsion systems. Din-Chiao Binding Agent contains no gum arabic and uses a different formulation approach based on an oil-in-water system supported by modified starch.

How the function should be understood

The main formulation objective is optical. A controlled dispersed phase scatters light so an otherwise thin or translucent beverage can present greater visual density. This is different from simply making the product thicker with a conventional gum.

Appearance never replaces truthful percent-juice labeling, ingredient review or finished-product validation. The importer and manufacturer remain responsible for regulatory compliance in the destination market.

1XA and 5XA at a glance

  • 1XA: the balanced starting grade for controlled everyday opacity.
  • 5XA: a higher-impact grade for formulas requiring stronger visual concentration.
  • Standard package: 20 kg pail.
  • Standard products: no added preservatives and a seven-month unopened shelf life.
  • Preserved export versions may be evaluated for qualified projects above an agreed minimum order volume.

Taiwan classification and export review

Din-Chiao Binding Agent is classified in Taiwan as a compound food ingredient rather than a food additive. That Taiwan-specific position is not a claim about U.S. FDA status or automatic acceptance in another country.

Qualified buyers should review composition information, specifications, proposed use level, processing conditions, labeling and destination-market requirements before commercial use.
